⚙️ Working Principle of a Stripper ColumnThe stripper works by applying the principle of mass transfer:
Liquid Feed (with volatile impurities) enters the top or middle of the column.
Steam or Stripping Gas is introduced at the bottom.
The steam flows upward, contacting the downward-flowing liquid on trays or packing.
Volatile components (with low boiling points) transfer into the vapor phase and are carried out from the top.
The purified liquid exits from the bottom of the column.
This is the opposite of absorption, where gas components are absorbed into liquid. In stripping, unwanted volatiles are removed from liquid.

Endless Belt Movement:

Oil Adherence:
